Reading and Country Badminton Club have a long and successful history since we were established in 1924. Over the years we have won many league titles in the Reading area and beyond and continue to promote a high standard of play both at club nights and in our many teams. We are based in South Reading

We are always interested in attracting established quality players who have played in the top divisions of regional leagues and younger players who show development potential (but no beginners please). To demonstrate our commitment to develop new talent we run a junior club to provide a means of feeding new young talent into the senior club.

Above all, we encourage a warm and friendly atmosphere. Club nights are competitive but friendly and many of us do meet up afterwards down the local pub. We also organise frequent social events such as meals and barbeques.

During the closed season we run a Summer Club which is more informal and open to people to come and try us out on a pay per night basis.
