Reading and Country Badminton Club have a long and successful history since we were established in 1924. Over the years we have won many league titles in the Reading area and beyond and continue to promote a high standard of play both at club nights and in our many teams. We are based in South Reading (club nights at South Reading Leisure Centre).

We are interested in attracting established quality players who have played in the top divisions of regional leagues and younger players who show development potential (but no beginners please).

Above all, we encourage a warm and friendly atmosphere. Club nights are competitive but friendly and many of us do meet up afterwards down the local pub. We also organise occassional social events such as meals and barbeques.

During the closed season we run a Summer Club which is more informal and open to people to come and try us out on a pay per night basis but please contact us first if you are interested.
